Established in 2019, afrifiber is headquartered in Haramous, Djibouti. It is fully licensed and authorised by Honourable Radwan Abdillahi Bahdon, Minister for the Ministry of Communication in Charge of Posts and Telecommunications (MCPT), for the provision of Internet and Data services through installing, maintaining and operating a fiber optic network in the Republic of Djibouti.

afrifiber is engaging to join in the East African Chapter of the Digital Council Africa. We are motivated to get involved in initiatives towards embracing digital services to drive social & digital inclusion, leverage technology to empower business, grow technology sector employment and improve ICT privacy within the region.

Together with afridata, afrifiber believes that our joint initiatives and establishment of afridata Technology Park will create a regional hub for digital technology, strongly aligning with his Excellency President Ismail Omar Guelleh’s vision for SmartAfrica.
