The iib and the Academic Association of the Beach (AAP) have renewed their partnership, reinforcing commitment to sports development and support for the AAP senior football team.The agreement includes a financial donation that will allow to improve sporting practice conditions and support the team’s participation in Cape Verde competitions during the 2025/2026 season.

More than just financial support, this collaboration symbolizes an investment in the future of young Cape Verdeans, promoting inclusion, hope and opportunity through sport.

The iib attended the prize giving ceremony of the Children’s Drawing Competition “Creative Savings”, held in partnership with the Cape Verde Stock Exchange (BVC), as part of the Savings Week.The contest encourages elementary school children to learn, in a playful and creative way, about the importance of saving and financial education, promoting responsible thinking from an early age.

This event was a fundamental space to celebrate, reflect, and strengthen female protagonism in all areas of society — from economic to political, social to cultural, sports to environmental.

Several national and international personalities met, such as Brazilian actress Camila Pitanga, federal deputy Benedita da Silva, Portuguese journalist Marta Lança, president of the National Assembly of Angola Carolina Cerqueira, president of ICIEG Marisa Carvalho, Cape Verdean journalist Margarida Fontes. Madam Bineta Diop, special envoy of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission for Women, Peace and Security, Founder and President of Femmes Africa Solidarité (FAS) and many others.

The forum was a collective journey of listening, learning and action, reaffirming that sustainable, inclusive and fair development will only be possible with the full participation of women, standing with equality and dignity.

IIB is proud to support this inspiring initiative, which promotes alliances and strengthens the commitment to a better future, with more participation and justice for all and all.

This event was a great opportunity for students to explore different areas of education, with support from professionals from various sectors. Our team shared essential knowledge about the financial sector, reinforcing the importance of financial literacy in personal and professional growth.

We remain firm in our commitment to promoting financial education and supporting future generations in building their academic and professional pathways!

With the support of iibCV, it was possible to ensure the participation of students from all over the country, from Santo Antão to Brava, and to create a paid professional internship awarded to the second placed in the tournament.

Top 3 finishers along with their respective Educational Institutions were awarded with the following opportunities: 1st finisher won a 6 month internship at BVC; 2nd finisher got a chance to do a 3 month internship at iibCV; and 3rd finisher was awarded with A training in an accredited training entity in Cape Verde.
