Aynalem Ababu brings over 21 years of experience in the banking and financial sector, with expertise in leadership, relationship management, and strategic planning.

Aynalem previously served as Resident Representative Manager at EXIM Bank Djibouti S.A. in Addis Ababa, where she successfully grew the client base, increased revenue, and made the office profitable from its first year. She has also held several senior roles at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, focusing on financial institution relationships, strategic planning, and executive support to senior leadership. Aynalem has extensive experience in building partnerships with local and international stakeholders, negotiating agreements, and driving organizational growth.

Aynalem holds an M.Sc. in Project Planning and Management from Debre Markos University and a B.A. in English with a minor in Political Science and International Relations from Addis Ababa University.
